Swimming

We like swimming. I am getting very good at getting around the pool without anyone's help. Well, my arm floaties help me, but Mommy and Daddy don't! Aidan likes to wear the arm floaties and be by himself, too. But he doesn't really go anywhere. He tries. But he really just floats in one spot. I am on the move! Mommy was surprised by how brave I am! Swimming is lots of fun! It is time for bed, so I have to go! Enjoy the pictures of my swimming adventures! - Imogene

Go Braves!

We went to our first Major League Baseball game! Imogene had been to a Minor League game before, but I hadn't. It was really hot. But it was so much fun! I liked all the cheering and yelling! I ate a hot dog. That is not something I usually eat, but I liked it. I had to take a nap around the 7th inning. It was just too hot and exciting for me to keep going. Imogene was on the big Megatron. She was dancing and smiling, so they put her on TV. I was asleep. We didn't catch any foul balls, but Mommy was pretty happy about that. We also ate cotton candy and Cracker Jacks. We got Braves baseball caps because it was free hat day. I liked that. I like hats. I'm going to go drink some milk now! - Aidan

My Birthday Cake

I decorated my very own birthday cake. I think it looks beautiful! And it was very yummy! Mommy baked the cake for me, but I decorated it! I love it! - Imogene

Birthday Cookie

Aidan is not too sure about the pink icing. Once he tried it, he liked it.

Daddy is cutting a piece of cookie for everyone! He did a good job!

After my Build A Bear Party, we ate a birthday cookie in the food court, thanks to Mimaw and Papaw! I really liked the icing! It was yummy and pink. I stuck my finger in the middle of it before anyone could eat any! - Imogene

Build A Bear Party

I have all my things and I am ready to go!

Everyone is singing "Happy Birthday" to me "ooh la la" style!

Daddy is naming Aidan's bear for him! The bear's name is Phillip.

Aidan thought he could climb this giant zipper! He couldn't.

Giving Sousa a bath was one of my favorite parts of the party!

Aidan and his bear, Phillip, are hanging out with Mimaw and Papaw.

Daddy says, "cheese!" like I do.

"Cheese!"

Me & Sousa, my rainbow bear

Having a "beary" good time!

Stuffing Sousa

Daddy & Aidan are having so much fun!

Everyone is getting their hearts ready to put in their bears! My bear has one heart in it from everyone at the party!

Singing "Happy Birthday" to me while we walk to the bear stuffing machine!

I picked out the fabric for my birthday skirt Mommy made me!

We are all lined up getting our name tags on!

As you can see, I had my third birthday party at Build A Bear! We had so much fun! Everyone at my party got to build a bear! We sang and played games- it was great! The pictures are in reverse order cause Mommy wasn't really paying close attention when she was uploading them. I really loved my party and I think my friends did, too!- Imogene

Straight Hair

Just in case you've ever wondered what a straight hair Imogene would look like, here I am. Weezie, Gabby, and Mrs. Jan straightened my hair. First they wet it, then they blew it dry, and then they straightened it with a flat iron. - Imogene

Since You've Asked

A few people have asked what it is that Emery needs. If you are not one of those that asked, you can ignore this post entirely. If you did ask, here is a detailed list. Probably more detailed than you wanted, but I am a little OCD that way.
Mainly, Emery needs diapers. Most of you know that we made the switch to cloth diapers. It has been a lot easier on us, although it makes buying for a new baby more difficult for everyone else. Since, most people know very little about cloth diapers. I have made cloth diaper registries on three different sites. (Why three? Well, they all offer something different in terms of buying options. So, you decide who you like more.) They each have basically the same stuff, which I will also list here.

Sites:

www.jilliansdrawers.com - They offer a buy more and save discount. You get a discount the more of something you buy. You do have to pay for shipping with them, though.
www.kellyscloset.com - They offer free shipping for all orders over $99.
www.nickisdiapers.com- They offer free shipping for orders over $75. They also offer a buy more and save discount and will give you a free cover or reduced price cover for every 6 Kissaluvs you order.
If you need a password for any of the sites to view the registry, it should be "esg." (Those are Emery's initials.
There are other places to find each of the items we need. (I know Amazon has Kissaluvs diapers.)

Needs:
0 Kissaluvs size 0 diapers- I registered for 4 of each of the 6 colors, but I'm really not picky about the color. You'll notice two of the colors are a little more "girly," but that doesn't really bother me or matter to me.
OR
0Nanipoo Newborn fitted diapers. You can find them at www.hyenacart.com/nanipoo. They are handmade diapers. You can order pre-made newborn fitted diapers, or order custom made ones that take a few weeks, since she has to make them. A mix of Nanipoos and Kissaluvs would be perfectly fine. The Nanipoos are cheaper than the Kissaluvs, but can be more difficult to come by- depending on her stock.

0 diaper covers- We aren't talking about the Gerber plastic pants they have at Wal-Mart. I have several different brands on the registries. All are the newborn or xsmall size. Brands that are on the lists: Thirsties (these come in solid colors- all I ask is that you don't get red- they bleed), Bummis Whisper Wraps and Super Brites (they come in white or patterns), and Prowraps (they come in white or a few pastel colors). Most of the covers on the cloth diaper websites are fine, I just picked the cheapest and simplest options.

I realize that is a pretty long list. Unfortunately, this is what we have saved for last. We have diapers for him once he gets to 10 to 12 pounds, since Imogene and Aidan wear one size pocket diapers. We will have to buy a few more of those for when he gets to that point, because we only have 15 for the older two, since Imogene usually only wears one or two a day. I will go ahead and tell you what we need in that area, too, just in case you are itching to know (or prefer to buy the cuter diapers).

We need 6 to 9 more one size pocket diapers. (Nickisdiapers has free shipping and a free insert with all pocket diapers.) We like Blueberry One Size Pocket Diapers, Swaddlebees One Size Pocket Diapers, and Haute Pocket One Size Pocket Diapers.

I'll update and remove as we begin purchasing these! All done with the exception of the one size pocket diapers that we won't need for a while!

NOTE: Updates are in red!
